Physical damage to machinery from accidental mechanical failure, short circuit, or operational errors.
Scope of cover
- Mechanical failure causing parts damage
- Electrical short circuit or overload burnout
- Rupture from centrifugal force
- Foreign objects jamming the machine
Exclusions
- Normal wear and tear, corrosion, rust
- Boiler/pressure vessel explosion (separate cover)
- Damage caused by external fire or flood
