Foreign Worker Mandatory Insurance外籍员工法定保险
What it covers
Mandatory Immigration Dept requirement: hospitalisation and surgery for foreign workers, plus a security bond guarantee.
Two components
- SKHPPA: Hospitalisation & Surgical (max RM 20,000/yr)
- FWIG: Security bond guarantee to Immigration Dept
- Accidental death or permanent disability
- Repatriation expenses
Critical timing
Policy must be purchased BEFORE the work permit is approved, and must cover the full permit validity. A lapsed policy risks permit revocation.
Exclusions
- Pre-existing conditions
- Self-inflicted injury or criminal acts
- Cosmetic surgery or non-essential dental treatment

- SKHPPA：住院及手术费报销（最高RM 20,000/年）
- FWIG：向移民局提交的保证金担保

关键时间要求
保单须在外劳准证批准前购买，并须覆盖准证的完整有效期。保单失效可能导致准证被吊销。
不保事项
- 既往病史
- 自残或因犯罪行为导致的伤亡
- 美容整形或非必要的牙科治疗
